*UPDATE* At the very last minute I have been asked to sing the role of Schaunard in the Canadian Opera Company’s production of La Bohème for a limited number of performances. It is wonderful to be able to reprise this role in the same production from 2005, this time enjoying the marvellous acoustics of the beautiful new Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto. The show runs from April 17th to May 24th, 2009
I have recently been awarded another substantial Career Development Grant by the Canada Council for the Arts for 2009. It will be put to use as I pursue further study and audition opportunities in the United States, though I will continue to be based in Toronto.
My CD, with Liz Upchurch entitled “Summer Schemes” is due to be released later this year
